OUR HISTORY

Cherubini: since 1960 respect for the territory, passion for our work, traditions of Cupramontana.
All in our wines.

The 1960s

The beginnings

It all began in the early 1960s with Manlio and Anita, with the first piece of land, located in an area of Cupramontana dedicated to the cultivation of vines: Contrada Carpaneto. Microclimate, nature of the soil, exposure: keywords for a successful territory.

With conviction, Manlio and his family begin planting the first vineyard, dragged by the appreciation that Verdicchio had even outside its production area.

The 1980s

The point of sale was born

With Manlio now there is also Orlando, his son. From the country house to the center of Cupramontana the road is short.
With the new point of sale, visibility increases. Visits from wine enthusiasts increase, requests for their Verdicchio increase, ambitions increase.
Now, traditions are valued, processing techniques are improved, vineyards increase, relationships flourish, friendships are born.
All around and for Verdicchio.

The 2000s

The third generation arrives

Simone and Cristina, completing Orlando's experience and Manlio's history, bring fresh strength and new stimuli. All under the banner of and in respect for the tradition and values so dear to the Cherubini family. Innovation, hospitality, receptivity. New cornerstones to be developed.
The Sales Point is flanked by a new wine cellar, an elegant tasting room, and a welcoming Bed & Breakfast.
With the Cherubini Family the emotion of those who come to the company becomes all-embracing.

Today

Today the Cherubini family is a terrace on the Territory. Guided tours of our hilly terrain, among vineyards and olive groves surrounded and immersed in nature.
Between stories and tradition, tasting our best quality wines produced from Verdicchio, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and other grapes.
Extra virgin olive oil, obtained from the most typical cultivars found in our valleys.
A Territory that tells itself, that binds to the heart

Tomorrow

The future still sees many important corporate projects to be implemented. But the Cherubini family's most coveted goal is to preserve the simplicity and respect for tradition that has allowed it to be known and appreciated over the years.
